can you power ON the HTPC with the remote ? or its just for "sleep" mode
does it get hot with AMD processor ? whats the temperature at ? i'm building a htpc and i'm not sure if i should go with intel processor or AMD... i heard AMD generates more heat

can you control all xbmc features with the remote ?
i'm not sure if i should buy this case and use the remote for xbmc, or buy a case without remote and invest in a better remote....
any suggestions?

i can indeed PowerON my HTPC when its completely shutdown,,,,

well maybe by default, AMD will generate more heat,,,
but there's some great silent CPU coolers out there u can buy!

forget about controlling XBMC with that remote,,,,
i use it only to PowerON/OFF my HTPC,,,
the remote is pretty much un-responsive and controlling XBMC with it is hell on earth,,
Just get your own remote,,,

check in the second post of my HTPC guide,,,
i list 2 or 3 remotes that work out of the box with Windows and Linux,,,,

Yeah thanks a lot for your HTPC guide, i have read everything and i'm still thinking about which one i will buy, it was very helpful for me

So it's impossible to get a remote that can power on AND control XBMC at the same time ? Without having to use Harmony ?

As for the other remotes you listed in your guide, which one would you suggest ? Which one is the most responsive ?
