they work on vlc too (add port 1935 and change rtmp to rtsp),
but on vlc they buffer like hell...

within xbmc all streams work fine

Wow! I just figured out how to add this to livestreams, and got it going. This is the best looking stream I've seen yet! Thank you pm2i for the find, and diego-ch for the xml!!

Does anyone know if a channel can be added to show a random stream from firstrowsports for example, by using Coojah? Is it as simple as capturing the information to then plug it into an xml? or is it more involved than that?

they are still working also in vlc but with the rtmp stream not the rtsp
there is a little software if you want to play any rtmp stream and it give you the option to add as many channels as you want the name of the guy who did i advisethis this is the link to his website where you can download his software and where i think that rtmpgui list is from :

Advesthis rtmpgui

This is some French stream with a low quality but they work all the time i think they are for ipad or iphone:

woompa Wrote:BlueCop threw together a plugin that I was requesting for rtmpGUI that I think you will be interested in. It includes tvsector sources as well as iLIVE sources and more. It is continuously updated. The channel list is pretty massive. The channels that show "link down" are mostly former seeon channels that have yet to be replaced. I borrowed livestreams addon.xml as a template and I also added a .png icon.

Wompa, in that post you linked, there is a post 2 down from that one where you said "oops this one should work instead". Which one are we supposed to download? I downloaded the first link but it is rar not zip, so how would I install that? I then tried to download the 2nd link and megaupload says "link temporarily unavailable". Could you clarify this please? Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind. Link works now and it's a zip file so it installed correctly.

I'm finding that the TVsector links don't play as well in xbmc as they do in a browser. The video quality is smoother in xbmc compared to browser in flash player, but the video constantly pauses and buffers in xbmc. Is this due to the fact that xbmc can't cache live streams? Is there any setting we can change to make it stop pausing and buffering?

Yeah I was in a hurry to upload the first time and did not realize it was a rar file.
For some reason there was a delay on Megauploads end before the new file was available to download.

Are there any particular channels with which you're having problems? I noticed some buffering as well, with some buffering more than others. ESPN had a little buffering and freezing, but all in all not too bad at all.

I think we're just helping them test the load on their servers. Smile
