I've been looking for HBO as well. There was an HBO Europe stream for a time, but it hasn't been up for a long time. Dexter is on Showtime, is the Showtime stream working for you?
As for Sky Sports...LiveStreams is great for all around access to live television content, but you may want to use SportsDevil for an addon that specializes in sports streams (available in the xbmcNerds repo): http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=100031

Yea, I've tried sports devil however I never seem to get any streams? Just empty links?
I've tried live streams too, however with that, I get a"plugin failed" error.
With dexter starting in a few days on Showtime/HBO and the F1 moving to sky in gonna be gutted as that's about all I watch
I like a bit of judge judy and obviously movies... But tv and sports are very limited for me.

Really? What are you running on? I've had no problems with LiveStreams and Sportsdevil on my OSX machine and Windows machine. I've found that both addons work on Dharma and the latest nightlies as well.

Hey,
I'm on the following:
dharma 10.1
Windows 7
Based in the UK
Trying to watch certain streams fail for me, (I assume it's location specific) for example HBO does not work for me and a few others.
Sports devil doesn't work at all for me, (for live content) if I got to the now playing section and select something...
It says
"1 link"
When I click the link it goes to an empty directory?
It does that for every single live "now playing" event?
I'm just trying to find a way to watch the f1 before it goes to sky? I won't buy a £500 a year subscription to sky + sports package just to watch 1 show every 2 weeks for 8 months at 2 hours an pop.
I don't watch any sports what so ever (mainly time restrictions and other interests) and the only sport I watch is F1 ... I'm worrying that by the end of the season I'm gonna be on the back foot and will miss many races next year
I'll keep trying sports devil though? Mayb it's me? But it's a completly default install?

I've had limited success with livestreams, the one i got working was deluxe music, and i save the 'file' in a rich text document, and it worked, so i applied the same tecnique to each and all of your files, and it wouldn't work, just came up with 2 dots!
Is there a way that i am not doing to get these channels working?
Any advice is appreciated!

Glad to help.
1stly you need xml notepad from here (1)
then you can modify what you need, i have uploaded a file for you (2) with the above channels in the xml format for you. just go to livestreams settings and tell it to load my file and you will then have the channels (1 note) you will not have icons though channels will still work, only reason for this is you may have xbmc installed on different Operating System etc but i have uploaded icons for you too to help.Load the file in xml and you will see how and where icons is done
