[AppleTV1] crystalHD.. crashes/slower playback than before - Kuhmann - 2011-03-19 Ok, maybe someone can tell me what I've done wrong here. Got a crystal HD card, installed the hardware without difficulty. Followed these instructions for software/drivers: http://todayguesswhat.blogspot.com/2010/08/xbmc-crystalhd-updated-instructions.html "Allow hardware acceleration (CrystalHD)" option in the settings is present and enabled. Source is a mythtv server with recordings made by a hauppauge hdpvr with the default settings connected to a sat reciever putting out 720p. Networking is a 1gig copper from the server, 100Mb copper to the appletv. I was able to playback cartoons(choppy but watchable) before. Now, when I attempt to play it pauses for a very long time then plays the recording even choppier and the audio sync is WAY off. Trying to play other things(Top Gear as my test since the fast motion of cars going around the track seemed to give the appletv the most trouble) will not even play. There is a long delay as with the cartoons but then it jumps to the apple logo followed by a message saying XBMC exited with status 10. dmesg gives me a bunch of this: Code: ...crystalhd_link_do_fw_cmd entered here's my xbmc.log http://pastebin.com/6Vve5sMH Halp! |
