can anyone post the latest for iPad
tried the last build i had from hadm2.net(16 may) with ios5 on iPad 1 , xbmc just exits as soon as it launches.

iOS 5 is untested , but since you are a developer you can help us with debugging?

hi amet, i am just a wannabe developer who actually signed up now to try ios5 and iCloud.
however, i will be happy to help with debugging if that can be done with my very limited knowhow of the matter.

the thing is that iOS 5 is still in B1 state and we wont even look at it until it hits B2 or even B3

will let everyone know once we do

I'm having trouble installing the XBMC subtitle addon on the latest build. XBMC downloads the addon but doesn't install it. Anyone else having the same problem?

Cranial Wrote:Temporary download: ATV XBMC Build 07/06/2011

I'll pull it when keith gets back online.

Hi Cranial, is this version the next nightly that will be made available from Keith once the server is back up? (Or is this a custom build outside of the main nightly?) Just wondering what fixes this has versus the 16/05/2011 build.

Sorry if I missed a thread on this 07/06/2011 build. It just seems like we have an influx of custom builds now, I kind of want to stay away from those...

Hope all is well team, you guys all rock!

Muertin Wrote:Recently installed the 16/5 nightly build for ATV2 and scanned through my video library situated on a Synology NAS served over SMB.

However when browsing through the library i found that several movies, but mostly tv-episodes had wrong information often connected to both another tv-show and episode. I thought that this must be a scraping issue so I exported the library from my linux-live dharma build but the issue remained. A majority of the episodes is connected to another episode/series i.e 7/8 Game of Thrones episodes is connected to the series Life's 1ep. The restored library is also unable to play the episodes stating that they are moved or unavailable.

In the linux-live build all information is displayed correct and plays nicely.
Same here. Some TV episodes showed up as Movies, with messed up movie info. A quick fix (for me at least) was to export the entire library to an xml file, FTP the xml file to my PC, edit out the incorrect entries, FTP the file back to the ATV2 and import the library from the xml file.

I'm not really bothered by this bug, as it does not happen very often. If needed I can try to provide logs, but I presume the problem is already known and not relevant at this moment.

Hi there:

Sorry guys, but it seems that link http://hadm.net/~keith/xbmc_atv2 is not working right now.
There's another way to get the package?

Thanks in advance

Sorry for the complete noob question - have downloaded this latest build per link supplied but not sure how to adjust the commands so that I can pull this from my windows network drive as opposed to getting via Keiths normal internet link. Usual commands are:

wget http://hadm.net/~keith/xbmc_atv2/latest_atv2.deb
dpkg -i latest_atv2.deb
rm latest_atv2.deb

In my case the file is now sitting in shared folder at \\hodge-main\xbmc

Any assistance to my ignorance in unix type commands/structure greatly appreciated.

Well, you could just use the following commands on the ATV2 using putty(or similar):

wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31328853/latest_atv2.deb
dpkg -i latest_atv2.deb
rm latest_atv2.deb

doesn't use the copy on your computer (downloads a new one), but works the same.

Edit: Should note that this is the May 16th build, not the latest that Keith posted just prior to his host screwing him over. Smile

This is just a build I made on that date, so to see where it's at, check the GIT commits from 16/05 until 07/06 .

I only dropped this build as I had it on file still and some people needed it to get up and running until keith's builds are back online.

Please do not use this build as a testing base for reporting problems in this thread. It's not keith's build. It's just to keep people running until keith is back on track with hosting.

The ATV2 5/16 version is running great for me and I wanted to install the iOS version on my iPad. Does anyone have the iOS 5/16 build?

- keith - 2011-06-16
