I think many would love a copy of that build. - rogerthis - 2011-06-16 keith Wrote:Hey guys, Is this an old build or a brand new build dated 15/6? - stevenz - 2011-06-16 rogerthis Wrote:Is this an old build or a brand new build dated 15/6? The .deb is dated 14/6 here. Running nicely. I am quite liking the new horizontal menu style in Confluence. Cheers for the update Keith. - Mla7a6 - 2011-06-16 Dear keith, after the update to the latest build, the Arabic subtitles got all messed up.. the Arabic words are now separated into letters instead of being joint together.. Any idea how to fix it? - gearheadvr4 - 2011-06-16 Anyone have issues with bluecop and adding the feeds? I'm able to add the bluecop repo and get the list of feeds to install but when I try to add any of them XBMC crashes. Of course this may be completely unrelated to your build. Ideas? BTW, your new build got almost everything else working perfectly. Bluecop is my my issue so far. So all things considered very very happy. Thank you!! - keith - 2011-06-16 gearheadvr4 Wrote:Anyone have issues with bluecop and adding the feeds? We need logs if youre going to report issues. - keith - 2011-06-16 Mla7a6 Wrote:Dear keith, We need logs if youre going to talk about issues. - keith - 2011-06-16 Thewolf Wrote:I think many would love a copy of that build. I haven't been backing up builds and have went thru a few hosts since then so no, I don't have any old builds. But realize, I'm doing this for progress, so upping super old builds for functionality isn't helping. If a dev was so inclined, they could find the github from whenever it worked and compare source and try to fix the subs. That's the way we should be trying to go instead of digging up old binaries. Dropbox Limit - TLBreeze - 2011-06-16 Hey ho... the new Dropbox Server seems to have realised that there is too much traffic happening, so i cannot access. Just to inform you. (This account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!) Great Work so far from you Keith. Dropbox traffic exhausted - cipher_ - 2011-06-16 @keith seems like you had to much traffic on your dropbox - now its down due to traffic limitations. that was quick - keith - 2011-06-16 Hah, I just got the email and you guys already noticed! New space coming soon. Sorry folks. - neoprogger - 2011-06-16 Hi everyone, Thank to all of you great guys, awesome work. Just upgraded to your latest build (Built on Jun 14 2011 (Git:20110614-9ac7e4c)) and when using the following advancedsettings.conf (which worked on all versions), the xbmc just crashes after opening. advancedsettings: <advancedsettings> <videodatabase> <type>mysql</type> <host>192.168.5.2</host> <port>3306</port> <user>xbmc</user> <pass>xbmc_access</pass> <name>xbmc_video</name> </videodatabase> </advancedsettings> (Thumbnails are copied to the Thumbnails dir directly for performance reasons) xbmc.log after crash: http://pastebin.com/XNDLiRq6 Thank you - keith - 2011-06-16 neoprogger Wrote:Hi everyone, I 'fixed' this the lazy way, redid my DB, but davilla pointed me at this later: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=96938 - keith - 2011-06-16 As promised, here's the new builds link: http://hadm.net/xbmc/ Once it's died down I will make a .tmp folder, stick 'em in there and symlink latest_*.deb not to confuse the new guys. I'm going to make my best effort to do a few a week from now on since so much is getting merged into trunk. I will try to note if it breaks stuff (like scraping/library scanning) but if I miss something please point it out, but don't forget about pastebin'ing your logs with debugging turned on! If you dont see it reported between this page and the top of the thread, assume we don't know about it and we need a log. The only thing I know confirmed 'broken' in this build is you may have to redo your db because of a mysql 'views' issue. See a few posts above. - xpmtl - 2011-06-16 thanks a bunch keith, will test this one tonight |
