Being a huge CBC geek, I've been aching for a CBC plugin for ages, adn a nice user plastered this link into another thread.
Not being at home, I am unable to try it, thus far, but it seems to work, from what I've been reading here.

Treehouse links - samster - 2011-08-15
I just found this add-on and it is exactly what I need!
Started with Treehouse. Some shows are listed but list is empty after selecting.
Hopefully, this will be fixed. These types of add-ons are exactly what we guys need to have the wife and kids start using XBMC!!

I think you can get the comedy network working again if you update your librtmp (search the xbmc forums, it's a little different for each platform) and then in the Canada on Demand add on settings, enable the "My librtmp is awesome".
(seems to work for me on windows)
This won't fix globaltv though, Globaltv has a different problem.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add Breakfast Television from CityTV in Canada since they seem to have a live stream all morning each day (http://www.bttoronto.ca/video/). I've been looking at the RTMP documentation and I'd love to figure out how to add the stream manually but I am lost for the moment...

The national is something that still works. It's under "CBC Shows" instead of what might seem like a more logical choice of "CBC News".

Great addon. Got it working first try.
Sadly, The National gives an error when trying to play the news. Doesn't surprise me; their site is so messed up for streaming.
CTV works great, both local and national.

Comedy Network's The Daily Show is now fully broken - and attempting to play any show crashes XBMC.
This is with the latest GIT/daily build of XBMC and has been going on for a few weeks now.
hoping for a fix or workaround sometime soon :|

Daily Show can be seen using the CTV network links. (instead of going to Comedy Network).
I use it all the time to watch the Daily Show using Canada on Demand addon.
Many of the Comodey network shows air on CTV, so you can use CTV to watch them.
