Log File - Crispy3M - 2011-04-22 15:40

@Bolverk,

I'm away for the Easter weekend but when I get back, I'll do some reading on how to create a "Log File" and then post one.

Cheers,

C3M

Wow, stumpled across this last night and installed it. I've been humming and hawing on cutting the cable... I think this will push me over - been watching a lot of netflix and if I can grab my news and sports and a few other things with COD I'm set!

Thanks a ton for all the work that's been put into this. I thought I'd try the hockey streaming last night, and just like teefer22, I get sound and no video on my ATV2. So here's my help with a copy of my XBMC.log

https://www.yousendit.com/download/VnByK0dpZ2dUME94dnc9PQ

It's pretty much at the end of the log. All I did was browse a little bit, try a stream or two, then try hockey, and then shut it down.

Hope this helps! Thanks again....

This is AMAZING! Loving it. But I can't figure out how in the world to bookmark on my Apple TV. What am I missing? I see the bookmarks folder but I don't know how to add a bookmark. Please help!

Thanks for all the hard work!

is there any live sport or live news feed within the hundreds of menu choices?

atvuser2: It sounds like I'm having the same problem,

Here is a snippet from the log file:

20:10:12 T:2896 M:2755698688 WARNING: HandShake: Type mismatch: client sent 6, server answered 9
20:10:12 T:2896 M:2755698688 WARNING: HandShake: Server not genuine Adobe!

A google tells me this is a rtmp related problem?

I have a win7 x64 install with an up to date XBMC and COD add-on.

Read through the old thread starting with my post on page 3 here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=96076&highlight=ctv+properties&page=3 This appears to be an issue with new code on the websites that XBMC 10.1 stable does not yet support.

Solutions so far include installing a patch under windows <librtmp> I think (also covered in the current thread I think), for others, it appears we are stuck waiting for the next version of XBMC.

This problem persists across several different add-ons (south park, etc...)

Thanks, everything is up and running again. Somewhere I must have checked off "My librtmp is awesome" and that broke things. I patched up the new librtmp posted earlier anyway and now I can tick that setting.

Fantastic add-on.

One thing I have noticed. If I watch "Latest broadcast" of CBC's "The National", it starts up and plays fine. But if I stop it half way through, I can't start the same video again. I found the same thing when watching the Canadiens vs Bruins Hockey game last night. It worked great until I stopped it, then I couldn't start it back up again. Even exiting xbmc and starting it back up didn't work.

Not a huge deal, but just thought I'd mention it in case it's something that's not too hard to troubleshoot/fix.

Here is my xbmc.log:
http://pastebin.ca/2051559

I've noticed this when watching latest broadcast of the national on both my ATV2 and xbmc 10.0 stable on my PC.

Any suggestions on how I can clear this out after I stop it, so that I can play it again?

It looks like a page is being cached that shouldn't. the easiest workaround is to delete the cache directory. on linux its generally in ~/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.canada.on.demand/cache/

I'll try to roll out a fix by tomorrowish.

The plugin has been working great. I've only noticed three minor issues:

1. The Daily Show extended interviews never play. The episodes all work great though.
2. If I stream two Daily Show episodes one after another, the volume of the second one is much quieter than the first. I doubt this is an issue with this plugin specifically, it's more likely something to do with the streaming library.
3. As others have reported, pausing for too long a period causes the streaming to suddenly stop soon after the video resumes, ie. I hit pause, wait for30 seconds, hit resume, video plays for maybe 2 seconds, then stops and goes back to the menu listing. I'm not sure you can do anything about this either, but buffering the video while paused would be ideal.
