... here's my log:

I know this is a polish (I think) site, but it's the one that works with my KDE pastebin app ;-)

I was looking at this page:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Frodo_API_changes

I know that i've seen lots of JSON stuff in the COD plugin. I'm thinking that it looks like Frodo changed quite a bit of the json stuff and it breaks some things in canada on demand. I'm thinking someone with some dev skills (hopefully someone who knows JSON) is going to need to make some updates to make Canada on Demand frodo compatible.

Just an observation..

https://github.com/marius-muja/plugin.video.canada.on.demand shows some recent changes by KenMacD. It looks like someone is looking at the code. I love this plugin and appreciate the hard work that has gone into it. I only wish I knew enough Python to help. I run any tests that anybody wants though and submit error logs.
BTW, is the best way to update this to just go to https://github.com/marius-muja/plugin.video.canada.on.demand/downloads and grab the .zip?

yep, just grab the zip. It seems to have a frodo fix in it (it worked for me on windows frodo beta 3). Good work to those that created the fix. (version number has been bumped to 0.7.6)

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - macxcool - 2012-12-12

I've got the new changes (0.7.6) now, but the global stuff still seems to be broken... at least on OpenElec on the RPi. I run Arch, so I'm going to install the beta and see if the plugin works there.

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - dcowboy - 2012-12-12

Seems the issues I am having with CBC are caused by how the pluging parses directories and lists files. CBC has video files in each folder of their directories and not just in the last folder... meaning to say some subfolders contain both directories AND video files - I am assuming the COD plugin only parses for videos when it doesn't find a folder

Not specifically Frodo related but glad to hear someone has created a fix for those with Frodo COD woes Smile

If anyone has experience and drive to correct the parsing issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the great work.

OK. I just verified it. Global TV shows work just fine on Frodo Beta 3 on my PC. It's only on OpenElec on the Raspberry Pi that I'm having the plugin crash. Now what?

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - ykhehra1 - 2012-12-12

Strange error on TVOkids. after fresh install it run any 1st video on tvokids, but after that 1st run tvokids give error even on same video which it runs perfect first time.

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - macxcool - 2012-12-12

OK. So, I installed OpenELEC on the RPI from scratch again :-( and the Global TV stuff works now. Now I'm going to have to enable my favourite addons one-by-one and see if any of them caused the problem. Maybe it was a RPi specific problem. Weird. I'll try TVO Kids tonight and see if that works I have Beta 3 on both the Pi and my Linux PC so I'll check both. Yipee, I can watch Elementary again without commercials.

CTV broken again, anyone else?

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - negatiiv1 - 2012-12-16

CTV was broken for me yesterday, but working again today.. Weird. CoD was giving a script error but I didn't have time to look into it, and now it's working.

CTV Local news is broken for me too.

The following are broken for me for the past few days. I am running Frodo RC1 (Windows 7) and Canada On-Demand 0.7.6. I have tried 0.7.5 as well.

CTV
CTV Local News
The Comedy Network

I can navigate these channels up until I try to get a listing of episodes, then I get a script error. Other channels like HGTV.ca are still working fine.
