Help with Web Interface - coloradocroat - 2011-03-20 Hello, I have XBMC loaded on my main media server as well as other laptops. All are running Windows. I am intruiged by being able to use the web interface, specifically for when I am out and about getting into my XBMC files through it. I have setup a domain name with dyndns, and am working on that piece as well. My problem is i can't seem to get the web interface to come up. I have enabled HTTP, I have it set for port 8080 and I left the default username xbmc with no password. When I go to navigate to http://<local-IP>:8080, nothing happens. 1. Does XBMC have to be running on the host computer for this to run? 2. Can I run as a service instead of the program? 3. What am I missing? Thanks, - rocketpants - 2011-03-21 coloradocroat Wrote:1.
