Crash while changing channels with tvheadend - User 89733 - 2011-03-24 Hi, Sometimes xbmc crashes while I change of channel. I am using dvb-t with tvheadend on Ubuntu 10.10 with the ppa of xbmc-pvr. Here are the logs: Xbmc: http://pastebin.com/Ezrn7QaJ Tvheadend: http://pastebin.com/bzEXYJeD Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to solve it? - opdenkamp - 2011-03-24 this is a problem in code, probably caused by this: 12:58:35 T:2845834096 M:986288128 ERROR: Get - failed to get stream sronx Wrote:Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to solve it?nope, you're doing nothing wrong, but keep in mind that you're using a testing version of xbmc, so issues like that are not unexpected. thanks for reporting back. - User 89733 - 2011-03-25 Ok, I know that pvr is unsupported by xbmc. I will patiently wait :-) - opdenkamp - 2011-03-25 there's an updated package available on the ppa. could you check if the problem is still present after upgrading? - User 89733 - 2011-03-25 Yes it is still present. The log I posted is from this version: 2:11.0-pvr+odk14~git20110324.28a2544~ppa+odk14~maverick - opdenkamp - 2011-03-25 ok thanks for reporting back - niclas.vahlin - 2011-05-08 Hi, I'm not sure if I got the same error but I got the same problem. XBMC randomly crashes when I change channel or get information from other channels while watching a channel. XBMC errorlog: http://pastebin.com/f7a44k8Q ( I use Ubuntu 10.10, and XBMC 10.0 pvr~odk48) I haven't updated my xbmc for a while, perhaps this issue has already been fixed. Otherwise I'm curious to know if I can do anything to help solve the problem. It rarely crashes if I am gentle (wait a while between each channel changes), but if I stress it a bit it usually crashes. Please let me know the status on this issue. Thanks for a great product! Best regards /Niclas - opdenkamp - 2011-05-08 new packages are being built now with a fix for this issue. - User 89733 - 2011-05-09 I tested a bit and the problem seems to have disappeared. Thanks a lot! - User 89733 - 2011-05-10 XBMC crashed today, I don't know if it is related or not. I changed the channel, I think I got the image and after 1 sec it crashed. xbmc: http://pastebin.ca/2056179 tvheadend: http://pastebin.com/C7rTD2tW - opdenkamp - 2011-05-10 it's not related, but it is a bug in the pvr code. please create a ticket on trac or github and attach xbmc's crashlog - niclas.vahlin - 2011-05-16 dushmaniac Wrote:new packages are being built now with a fix for this issue. I'm pretty new to Ubuntu (and xbmc pvr scene), how do I upgrade to latest packages? - opdenkamp - 2011-05-16 click "update" when ubuntu shows you the nice popup window - niclas.vahlin - 2011-05-17 Been there but I didn't want to update everything on the computer. And I wasn't able to "check" the checkboxes on the xbmc pvr part for some reason. But I'll have a go again. Thanks for the help! - roher - 2011-05-22 Hi, I just changed channels with xbmc and it crashed with latest xbmc +tvheadend -combi (odk38). Couldn't reproduce it. full xbmc, crashlog here: http://pastebin.com/ZfCPj8YS |
