I updated to the SVN and noticed that you added a "Poster Wrap" View. I love it! Do you have plans to add tv show logos to it?

That said, A serious Thank You for all the work you do on this skin!

Sure, why not. Look for it coming in an svn update soon. Smile

This is part of what makes this skin so good! You're always here and listening! Thank You!

I noticed when for the information screen for a movie, the refresh button is gone! Will you be adding it in a future auto-update in XBMC?
When I update a change to a movie, such as a new trailer or update information in the nfo file, I have to remove the movie from the library and then re-add it.

Also, movie titles with "," commas e.g I, Robot do not play when you select them. Neither does their related trailer.

- stoli - 2011-06-20

Refresh button is still there for me. You haven't switched to Kiosk mode, have you?

EDIT: Just added I, Robot to the library and it plays fine in File and Library mode. You may want to check your debug log.

I did switch to kiosk mode. Is that why the refresh button disappeared? Now I just feel stupid Blush

I'll check the debug log when I get home, I'm at work right now, maybe the movie has to be refreshed for something.

Kiosk mode is like setting everything to read-only. Refresh would defeat that. Smile

Hey stoli, so tonight i refreshed I,Robot and I also looked at the debug log.

There isn't a problem playing the file in Night and Neon, but there is a problem playing the trailer. I also tested it in Confluence and its works fine playing both trailer and file.

Here is the snippet from the debug log:

It seems because the trailer path isn't enclosed in quotes the PlayMedia command is truncated and XBMC can't play it.

I also found a few more bugs in Night and Neon,

- When using the Slide view with extrafanart enabled, if there is only 1 thumb image, the movie summary overlaps the extrafanart image.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/64268286@N05/5855417994/

- Also when playing a trailer in slide view, the trailer video is not centered in the preview window.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/64268286@N05/5855417798/

- I have a few of Bluray ISOs, but when I display choose to display the dvd/bluray case overlay, all the blurays show the DVD cases, however the file is recognized as a Bluray because its filename includes "bluray", is it possible to use this logic to display the Bluray cases?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/64268286@N05/5854864963/

- Also when dvd/bluray case overlay is enabled it is also seen on "go back"

- JohnVee - 2011-06-21

When entering movie genres, this white box appears around the poster...Image
It would be great if the name In the middle of the screen can be put In the upper left hand corner right under the item count.

While browsing TV shows in Last Added, the network Icon is not fully displayed. Rather then HBO, it shows up as HB. All the other TV shows that have bluray, dvd or hdtv within the file name has the network icon cut in half.Image

Also, one little minor thing...When your on the home screen, clicking up from the sub menu of movies does not work. You have to press down to get out of that sub menu. All the other categories you have to push up.

I have no problem with I, Robot (2004).mkv using nightly of xbmc and Neon.

All Fixed

Fixed. Also added Showcase view to TV along with new cases for Movie Sets and TV shows.

Fixed by removing the hack flack for dvd/bluray/hddvd for this view. Rather redundant when the resolution is there too.

Fixed. Not even sure how that one got broken...

Hey Stoli,
I fixed the I, Robot trailer not playing issue.

I replaced the $INFO[ListItem.Trailer] with "$INFO[ListItem.Trailer]" (i.e enclosed in quotes) within the XBMC PlayMedia commands. Only 2 files have to be modified:
- Viewtype_Slide.xml
- Includes.xml
Now the I, Robot trailer plays within problems, woohoo! Big Grin

- IAmNotAUser - 2011-06-23

Hey Stoli,

Last night I rebuilt by XBMCLive install from the last git and updated the Neon addon along with it. I have a smart playlist that shows all unwatched TV episodes from my "Other" category and I have this smart playlist saved as a favourite. Since I have updated when I go into this playlist from the favourites menu I see the shows as "OtherNational Geographic - Blah" where before they would have showed "National Geographic - Blah". This happens in most views, except the ones where it just has "Episode" instead.

Is there a way to either remove the show from the start (as I already know what show it will be) or add a space and delimiter after the show name so it's a bit more tidy?

Thanks Smile

stoli Wrote:I updated it today, but you should be able to add the folder /media/backdrops and then add in a curtains.jpg and curtains_diffuse.jpg. I believe that will take precedence over those contained in the textures file.

Unfortunately this didn't work.

Also I manually replaced one of the television show logos but the old logo is still showing up. Is there a cache somewhere that I can mess with?

Change it in XBMC (Neon) but pressing "i" on the tv show then choosing a new logo from the get artwork menu.

- JohnVee - 2011-06-24

stoli,

Found a new bug in TV Shows. Using logo view, then going to episode details, clicking back does not take you back to the logo view. It gets stuck on the fanart for the TV show you're on. Only way to get out is to push back again but that takes you out to the home screen.

I'm still having the problem with the network Icons being cut in half in episode details. I know you said you fixed it by taking out the bluray, hddvd and dvd flags, but they still show up there as well. I don't have any .nfo files for my tv shows, but I do have every one of my episodes labeled with the proper extension if that helps....Dexter.S01E01.bluray

I know you say it's rather redundant to have the icon there with 720 or 1080 showing, but it's still nice to see what source the rip is coming from. Wish you had hdtv and dts ma flags in your skin, but it's no big deal.

One last question...
Just started using GitHub. Should I be using the Master branch, or the Eden branch to get the latest updates?
