Has anyone confirmed whether AC3 and DTS works on firmware 4.3 and 4.3.1?
Everyone keeps saying audio works great with the seas0npass jailbreak... but it's unclear whether they mean it's FULLY working without issue (including AC3 and DTS)... or if they just mean they're not getting the "failed to initialize audio" error.

DTS works, AC3 doesn't (at least not for anyone who's posted in the nightly thread, and me
) You can turn off AC3 out and it will work in the sense that you get downmixed sound, but not an AC3 stream. But this is all on nightly builds, so it could change....

Just to throw another issue out there so people are aware before jumping into 4.3 with the new nightlies:
Add-ons will not even launch. Tried multiple add-ons.

I can confirm that XBMC nightly ON 4.3.1 is very unstable. I tried it last night. It had multiple problems. It even exits back to APT main menu a few times while I was navigating inside XBMC. Video playback on 702p Xvid stutters a lot. Actually this was the main reason I did the upgrade, because 4.2.1 version stutters.

I restored my Apple TV to default 4.3 through iTunes and saved the SHSH blobs with Tiny Umbrella in case something went wrong. I did the untethered jailbreak with seas0npass, installed XBMC nightly, Nito TV and updatebegone via apt-get.
SMB is streaming fine at 720p from my Debian server in the basement via powerline ethernet. I browsed for the SMB shares to add them to XBMC. I watched a full episode of Come Fly With Me with no buffering or stuttering. Add-ons are also working... I watched a short episode of Geekbeat TV in HD on Revision3 via the add-on just to make sure.
Audio is working fine, but I'm just using HDMI plugged right into the TV for now.
Overall I'm pretty happy with the whole thing so far and thanks to XBMC for letting me replace my big HTPC with a tiny box. I just added this as there may not be as many issues with the nightly and the jailbreak as people may think reading this post.
