I am on some nightly, using 0.6.3 UT.
Here is the log:

Thanks.

Check the download link in my sig for details about which version of TU you need with your version of xbmc.

I got everything working properly now, great program, is it possible to have it start the update upon resume from suspend in addition to start from reboot or boot up

othrayte Wrote:Hmm, I wouldn't think it is but it does look like it is a problem with xbmc itself. What you need to do is search the bug reports at http://trac.xbmc.org/ for anyone mentioning your error messages of problem. And if you don't find any create a new issue that explains that details the log, the error messages and the nothing is able to connect to the jsonrpc service. Also use the 'cc' field to forward the issue report onto Montellese.

I changed the default http port in system settings and im now able to scrobble on all xbmc boxes!

weird Smile

I can't get this addon working. Nothing I do seems to update the trakt website. Where can I find the debug log?

Thanks

Found the debug log. Here's the trakt utils bit...

First, never provide a part of debug log.
Now there's no way of telling what version/build of xbmc you are using.

Try installing the 0.6.4 version because that's probably the issue here

Thanks, upgrading seemed ot fix it Smile

I updated the trakt XBMC download page with much more info about trakt utilities. For Eden, it is the recommended method for people to use and I included several screenshots, links, and info to help people install it. Once Eden is officially out and trakt utilities is in the official download repo, we'll make Eden the first XBMC on that page.

Let me know if I left anything out or you would like to change any of the info.

I understood trakt utilities is meant to be used alongside the trakt plugin. Is that not actually the case, even with the Eden versions of both?

- rectifyer - 2011-10-30

Since trakt utilities handles scrobbling now, there is no need to use the standalone trakt plugin anymore for eden.

The official trakt addon just adds scrobbling support to xbmc (tells trakt.tv when you watch things). TU was born to add all of the rest of the features, 2-way sync, rating etc. As of version 0.6.x of TU it has been able to do this scrobbling, but as the feature was new and most people were using the official trakt plugin with TU it was disabled by default. So to use just TU you need v0.6 or higher and to enable scrobbling support in its options.

On a side note I plan to make scrobbling support enabled by default from version 0.7.

Hey thanks to you guys that have worked on this add-on. I just found out about it and had it running in no time. This is on a fresh (nightly) install, so most of my stuff is marked as unwatched. There should be about 120 shows, and when I restart XBMC, those all sync to Trakt, but if i keep refreshing, they start to dissappear until only 26 are left. I've even turned off clean TV library but that didn't help. Is this a feature I've misunderstood or is something not working right? I can't even figure out why the 26 shows specifically, some I've watched, some I haven't. See what I mean here http://trakt.tv/user/Jessev/library/shows/all

Um, so I went to the page you linked and you have 113 shows in your collection, is this not what you expect, I also noticed that you have 21 shows that you have 'played', ie watched part of. Are you expecting something else?

I installed this yesterday on my ATV2 Pre Eden version of XBMC. I chose the stable release v0.6.3 and watched approximately 12 different episodes. But nothing has scribbled since Fresh Meat was watched on my Acer Revo with exactly the same setup.

Does TU need to be loaded manually somehow, its enabled. But does nothing or so it seems.

Depending on which nightly you are using you might need a different version of TU, the latest nightlies require v0.6.4, check the download link in my sig for more specifics. You shouldn't need any special setup other than specifying your username ans password.

Also, where did you get v0.6.3 from, all new setups should be on v0.6.4 by default?
