Simple (hopefully) feature request. - runningeric - 2012-02-21

In order to have trakt do stuff manually, would it be possible to add a menu entry that did all of the update/sync/clean operations, instead of having to click all six current entries?

If there is a way to do this that I missed, my apologies and just let me know.

Thanks!

Honestly, you only have to do that once when you first configure the plugin , so it doesn't seem that hard to me... :/

Btw, really enjoying the wonders of scrobbling. I now have a nice-looking signature Smile

I meant if you don't have auto-sync turned on. Smile I'm still having freezing issues, even with the new .zip file. Turning off auto-sync fixes the issue.

doesn't scrobble with resume - kluka - 2012-02-22

Hi,

I still have the problem with scrobbling when I resume an episode.

when the episode is new it gets "marked as seen", otherwise it just doesn't get scrobbled.

I tried it with your most recent version "0.6.4-28". Btw finding that was very hard as a (not-github-experienced) end-user... maybe you could explain that somehow on the github page?

I think I got it now... you mean a way to "kick off" sync manually instead of toogling all the option, reboot, let it sync and deselect all the options again.

trakt utilities menu - kluka - 2012-02-22

oh and another thing:

where the hell is this TU menu? I tried confluence skin, aeon nox and transparency and all I have is the add-on configuration the scrobbling and the rating. How can I activate it?

Just setup XBMC (11.0-BETA3) on a Linux Mint 12 machine, installed TraktUtilities and entered my username/password.

However, although I can login just fine on the trakt.tv website, the TU script keeps giving me the error "Incorrect username or password".
I've tried to set a new password on the trakt.tv website, but I still get the error.

Confirmed, though rather, simply disabling scribbling fixes the issue. TU doesn't have to be disabled. All other plugins were disabled in my last test. I cannot test it without remote access settings enabled as I use event ghost with my remote and have no other control methods at this time. Inconvenient, I know, but there you have it!

There is a known issue related to the way TU tracks the amount of time you have watched an item for, it currently ignores the previous amount you watched and only counts the time you spend watching it after resuming, we already have an issue logged about this and we intend to fix it, but at the moment we have no timeline for this.

- Rumik - 2012-02-23

Scratch that - TU does have to be disabled entirely. Simply disabling scrobbling doesn't fix this issue. Certainly makes it less frequent though!

I've re-installed XMBC (eden-beta3) on my Linux Mint system, reinstalled TraktUtilities, but I still get the error that my username/password is incorrect.

I'm pretty sure it is correct though, because I can login on the trakt.tv website.

This could be a connection issue, TU has the same message for both wrong details or no connection. This is what your log indicates, for since reason trakt.tv is returning blank responses, you need to ensure that xbmc can and is allowed to reach the trakt sites.

I think I have read that before, however I can reach trakt.tv from a browser just fine and that confuses me.
Also on another comp running MediaPortal (in the same LAN) I have no problems with trakt at all.

What do you mean TU should be allowed to reach the trakt.tv site?
Is there anything to be configured in that respect?

I've noticed that if I in XBMC mark a seen TV-show as "unwatched" in my library, it also mark the show as unwatched at trakt.tv.

That's not great if you ask me. Is there a way to turn that of?

Sometimes I mark shows as unwatched, since maybe my girlfriend wants to see it, or if I want to re-watch it.

Then it not great if it at trakt.tv looks like I haven't seen it.

Or am I wrong? But I've seen this for a lot of shows.
