A few months ago i suggested the idea of making trakt utilities into a scraper https://getsatisfaction.com/trakt/topics/use_trakt_as_a_scraper_in_mediaplayers i haven't heard anything about that until now. I was now hoping that you guys could develop a way to scrape anime in a useful way using Trakt.
With the original name it is currently impossible to get anime's scrobbled with XBMC if there is more than one season. Even if you have regex syntax enabled only the episodes from the first season will appear. I've tried everything, from different regex codes to different scrapers, but nothing helps.
I really hope that Trakt utilities could possibly solve this problem. I am not the only one who would like that, there are thousands of people just like me who are having the same problems.

I just recently came across trakt and am hooked! I've installed the plugin and I'm loving it so far!
Only thing I can't seem to get to work is the rating system. Everything else works fine and even the test release runs pretty stable on my system. I've installed the latest nightly build and tried the stable and the latest test version. No difference. Any ideas?
Oh, and perhaps a tiny suggestion: isn't it possible for the plugin to automatically 'check-in' when you're watching a movie or tv show?

It appears that patience is key while the dev's scratch their heads to sort the issues out.

XBMC freezes then i try to sync seen movies.
Have anyone else had this problem to? Or is it just on my XBMC...

It should show up under services, or if you search for it. Both methods showed it for me, simply called trakt version 1.0.0. If trakt utilities is working fine for you and scrobbling, no need to use this new plugin since it's pretty much the same type of scrobbler. Also, on one of my systems, I am running trakt utilities (with scrobbling off) and the new trakt scrobbler at the same time and it's working fine.

It's some issue with having the old dharma plugin installed in eden, then updating to the new one. I did all my testing in osx and linux, but I didn't have the 0.1.5. dharma plugin installed. I had trakt utilities installed for all of my tests.
It seems like you need to unzip the file? The old plugin would also have to be completely cleaned out including removing any references in the autoexec.py file. I don't know exact steps yet though, so if anyone figures out a clean way to upgrade please let me know.

I have disabled the old one (0.6.5) activated the new one and filled in all necessary settings. Stopped xbmc, restarted. And it works!
So seems like i had to restart xbmc.

Ok cool, I think the restart might have been the fix more than disabling trakt utilities.
Just for reference here are the version out there:
trakt utilities 0.6.5 (scrobbler + a lot more)
trakt 0.1.5 (dharma plugin, effectively replaced by 1.0.0)
trakt 1.0.0 (eden plugin, scrobbler only)
TU alone should work for scrobbling + more. If scrobbling doesn't work, then try...
TU + trakt 1.0.0 can run together, just disable scrobbling in TU.
In all cases, trakt 0.1.5 shouldn't be used in eden+ anymore since 1.0.0 does the same thing just better
