Hello everyone,
Please, move this thread if this is the wrong place to be asking; though, it seems fitting.
In any case, I've read that support for MIPS processors is in development, but I can't find any more information on this topic. Which members of the development team are working on this? I would like to offer my help, as I have personal interest in this area. I am familiar with MIPS architecture and also have moderate experience working with MIPS asm, if that may be of value. MIPS is popular among media streamers, and I believe it would be beneficial to look into this further.

I think the MIPS work is being done by Sigma Designs and is not public at the moment - but I believe their patches will be pushed upstream at some point.
In the meantime, you may want to look at the work that's been done on the ARM port, as there could be some crossover with the types of changes that had to be made...
