I upgraded to 1.6.5 and signed up for a one day pass to watch the Spurs. Was browsing the channels when I found Racing UK. Weirdly it wouldn't play right. It was like everything was in slow motion. The other channels are fine. I tried watching it on the website and it worked grand. Just thought I'd mention it. I'm not into horse racing but others in my family are and I thought I might impress them.

Mclog can you update the channel names when you get a chance please, ie channel 3 is now ESPN UK and channel 12 is Sky sports news . Also there is an extra 2 channels now .

- mclog - 2011-07-17

Nope. Channel 3 is called ESPN UK, but at the moment Sky Sports 4 is on it, etc Smile If the channels stabilise and become consistent as named, I'll update then.

Quite right. Their channels are still all over the place. They now have 18 channels but when I checked yesterday there was about 10 of them blank! Big Grin

I didn't know that you could install XBMC on an iPad! I thought it was the Apple TV that it worked on. If you have an ipad I believe the website has a special page for that:

I apologise for my earlier post as it was not much help. Alas I haven't a ipad. But since no one else is replying might either of these posts help?:

http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=818287&postcount=137

and

http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=821387&postcount=139

They're for the Apple TV but are basically saying you download the repo zip and install it through the add-ons section of XBMC.

Don't know if this will help. My apologies if it doesn't! From the first post of this thread:

Quote:Installation
Repository Instructions (Recommended)
1) Install Repo Install from HERE
2) In XBMC goto Settings -> Add-Ons -> Install from zip file
3) Use the app to browse to 'mortstar's repo' and install
OR
1) Install Repo Install from: HERE
2) In XBMC goto Settings -> Add-Ons -> Install from zip file

Can't you download the repository zip and then install it through XBMC as detailed above?

- groggy - 2011-07-21

hmmmm
i thought you was on to somthing then vanzan but when i go to the add ons through my ipad there is nothing there relating to liveonlinefooty and if i go through the recomended install method through my ipad , safari cant download the file as it is a zip file.

thank for trying help though.
hopefully someone with an ipad my read this tonight and have an idea on what to do to solve this!
bed time now
thanks again vanzan

Unfortunately I also don't have an ipad Sad

Are you able to install the "repositories installer" addon? If you can install that you will then be able to install whichever repositories you want directly from xbmc (including the morstar one needed for this addon). I think the repositories installer can be found in the passion-repo. If not, the only other thing I can think of doing is downloading the repo to a PC, unzipping it and then copy the unzipped folder to wherever your addons folder is on the ipad.

I have it installed on my iPad 2 and it works great, just copy the zip contents to the addon folder and you are done!

You need to open an SFTP connection to the iPad, Use WinSCP on windows or CyberDuck on a mac. Drop the files in that way.

All you need to do is find the addon in "video addons" and enter your account details in the addon settings. No idea how you bring up the context menu on an ipad though! Once you've done that you can search by schedule (which isn't usually very up-to-date) or just randomly try out some channels - some will have stuff on and some won't (I usually find channels 1,2,3,7,12 & 13 are the best bet for having something on).
