are all of your linux drivers upto date?
xbmc main audio settings configured correctly?
have you had problems with other plugins such as youtube, iplayer?

at the moment both i and mclog are on a windows build so its pretty much hard to troubleshoot, would you like to send your debug log in here (the part where the audio messes up) or if you cannot locate that, then send across to [email protected]

finnil Wrote:I'm having the same problem with XBMC linux (Dharma latest version) on a dedicated Acer Revo 3600.

Audio has occasionally worked, but generally not.
I'd appreciate any pointers to resolve.

Debug log available (pastebin not working at the moment)

It works fine for me in XBMC (Windows).

Thanks,
finnil.

@myksterx

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
I believe all my linux drivers are up to date - I did an update a few weeks ago.
I've never had a problem with Youtube or iPlayer. I do occasionally have a problem with the odd movie on Icefilms, but selecting a different source usually resolves.

I've emailed the debug log.

Cheers,
finnil

hi mate,
received your email and will take a look into it.

take a look at this post:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=781626&postcount=85

this is in the [dev] thread, and it seems he also had a problem with linux based system, untill he updated to the mentioned linux build which resolves it.

i think it is a problem with outdated/wrong drivers for different systems, i could be wrong, but i cant see why there would be any problem with the plugin as its a very basic method of playback no different to other plugins out there?

could be wrong though!!

I'll give it a go, and report back for the benefit of others experiencing any audio problems.

Early days, but this looks like it has done the trick!
I've just been able to stream 4 channels, and audio is fine on all of them Big Grin

For any others experiencing the same problem, I was using a dedicated Acer Revo Aspire R3600 withe the latest official Dharma build of XBMC (linux).

Reimaging with the Openelec XBMC build (OpenELEC ION i386), and following the instructions on the openelec.tv site to install from usb has resolved the audio problems.

The only config change I had to do was in System>System>Audio Properties, changing Audio Output, and Audio Output Device to HDMI.

After adding the LiveOnlineFooty Addon via WinSCP (note Filezilla/SFTP is not supported in this build, user: root, password: openelec), I am now able to get my fix of live football.

Thanks Myksterx and mclog for a great plugin !!

Excellent plug in, this and flashsportsstreams give the best coverage available without having to search constantly for new streams or accept a poor standard. (a flashsportsstreams plug in wold be great too!! Wink )
The only issue I'm having is a script error whenever I try to look at the schedule. Was working fine up until yesterday morning...

- jabba_29 - 2011-04-24

I got that yesterday for a while too. The error went when there were fewer matches. (Also got it for the IceFilms plugin a bit)

I'm still getting it now... had it constantly from yesterday morning onwards..

hi guys, i am aware of the problem as of yesterday! i have informed mclog of the problem, although i seem to have fixed it yesterday messing with the code!

i will upload my version which should have resolved the problem!

(PS. I will edit this post to inform that the file has been uploaded, watch this space!)

-----------------
EDIT: 1.4.1 is now uploaded, which should resolve schedule problem! - http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=99422

Thanks but I just came here to post that the schedule was working again! I'll update anyway but thanks ever so much for your work! Smile

- myksterx - 2011-04-24

hi mate,
thank you for coming back to let us know!
i think it was because the plugin was loading up alot of streams at once it had abit of trouble handling it, hopefully 1.4.1 should resolve this issue, only time will tell!

i fixed it yesterday when i found the problem with my machine.. it worked instantly so hopefully we wont need to look at this section again!
