For awhile now I have not been able to access my media on my ATV2. I get a "operation timed out" then "could not connect to network share" errors. Finally decided to look into it. Noticed a bunch of threads with this issue but never found a solution..

Try using the IP of the smb server instead of the netbios name.

Do you mean instead of use "smb://MCBORZU-PC/TV Shows 3" I should use something different? Could you explain a little further I'm not familiar with those terms? Thanks

Instead of MCBORZU-PC you should use the IP of that PC (like 192.168.0.10) - you have to look the ip up in the network adapter preferences of that pc.
