Hi there. I'm new to xbmc. I'd like to set up a box to my tv to simply watch tv/ móvies/ sport, and not much else. Does anyone have any recomendations.
I have read about some of these pre installed android boxes. Are they all they say they are or will I have problems with them.
Does anyone have any recomendstions for me. If it's not android that's fine, as long as it's as user friendly as possible ( if this is possible)
Thanks
Paul.

Seriously stay away from sketchy boxes like that. Buy from a reputable source. Mabye you should start with a cheap Raspberry PI, and then if you find you need more look for another box.
Great options in order of ascending price,

Raspberry PI (put together yourself)
Ouya
pivos
nuc celeron (put together yourself)

Some might through the Gbox mx2 in there some where around pivos and ouya.

Ouya is a great little starter box (and possibly all you need). It is not beyond the occasional issue but for the $99 price you can't beat it as a way to familiarize yourself with XBMC's vast capabilities and have a better handle on how you can upgrade to suit any future needs that arise.
