Do I have 2 instances of Kodi installed?
#1
I think that I inadvertently installed Kodi twice.

Once as sudo and once as the default user: pi.

I installed add-ons under sudo, but they don't appear when I start Kodi as user: pi

Is there a way to remove them both and start again and do I even need to?

Thank you

All Kodi's settings are stored in a folder titled .kodi in your home directory. You can't run apt-get update and have it work under pi and have it work. I don't think you have two installs of Kodi, but you might have two .kodi folders. One will be in /home/pi and the other should be in the /root folder. files with a "." preceding them are invisible, so you will not see them if you enter ls. You need to do ls -a to see invisible files. If you set up a large library under both root and pi, the downloaded artwork might take up space you'd rather have freed up. You can delete the .kodi folder you don't want to use and leave the other alone. I run Kodi under either pi or a user account I've created with my name.
