Solved Testing between version using Windows 10?
#1
So now that I'm underway, I'm looking to see how others test their skin work based on build. I am supporting Matrix, Nexus, and Omega forward. Since all the settings are all stored in the windows users folder, I would assume their would be differences in dependencies based on evolution.

I can't imagine most installing and uninstalling each build multiple times to verify work. So how do you do it? Virtual machines for each (that would be costly), zip files?

I am already seeing issues with the GUI revision and Omega and the hey this doesn't install.....which is understandable since my Repo is singular right now. I plan to split it between the 3 versions, but I need to ensure I don't create triple the work just for that.

How do you do it?

Thanks,
Chris

Portable mode.

Just install separate versions of Kodi in separate folders. Don't add as start menu. Then create shortcuts to each kodi.exe with the -p flag
Arctic Fuse - Alpha now available. Support me on Ko-fi.
