No resume through remote
#1
I have an mceusb type remote, with its usb-receiver connected to a zotac ion board. With the standard jaunty kernel I had perfect suspend(to-ram) and resume. Then I installed the 31.5 kernel - basically to get a solution to the ipv6 problem. I was able to fix that, wireless works great since then. But guess what, resume is gone. To be more precise, it is gone through the remote. If I press the power button on the case, the system wakes up perfectly. The remote can put it to sleep, but when I try to wake it, the ir-receiver seems to get stuck with its red led remaining on but unable to give the system the wake signal.
I know this is more a linux problem, but being a complex issue, I'll start by asking here. How is the xbmc suspend/resume comand propagated to the os? Is it acpi? Or pm-utils? Thanks for any advice.
