My Lacie drive has just started making those lovely drive head crashing noises, so it looks like its time for an upgrade.

Could you advise something big, cheap, networked and of course good

Whip the lid off your Lacie and put a new drive in?

Cheers, that could have been an option had it now not packed in completely - I cannot access the web app, logs or even USB so I think its time for something new.

EDIT - Just noticed that its been under a year since I got it so they may be hope for the drive if not the data
