XBMCbuntu playback issue
#1
Howdy,

Been using XBMCbuntu beta 3 since mid February and since then I've been having issues when I play either a local video on my NAS or a video from an add-on (YouTube, Giant Bomb, etc). What happens is that when I press play to begin a video, the XBMC UI remains and the background where the video would be is black but audio plays and the timer starts ticking. When I select another video or stop the currently playing video, XBMC freezes and requires me to restart my HTPC. It's sporadic sometimes it'll happen 3 times in a row or the video starts working after single reset.

My specs are as follows:

Intel G620
ASRock H67M-ITX
Patriot Torqx 2 32GB SSD
Kingson HyperX Blu 4GB DDR3 RAM
EVGA GeForce 210

Try downgrading nvidia drivers to 275 and check if the issue disappear. Otherwise look at the linked above discussion if can help.

Doing the do-release-upgrade-d command seems to have fixed my problem. I haven't had crash yet in 2 days. Thanks!
