If you are asking me then I guess my answer is yes and no.

I gave up trying to boot from the SD card and just boot from the SSD.

Sad hi i wonder if anyone can advise me, just got my revo 1700 with linux, i connected via wireless to my hub but i have a desktop pc as the main pc in the house which has the network setup on it and it is windows based, does this effect the operation of either machine via the wireless hub and if not does everyone experience internet access issues with the revo. I tried connecting it with an ethernet cable and still had same problems so am i missing something daft.....help?

I'll take some screenshots of my bios. I had no problems booting off a USB key, installing it on the sdcard, then removing the USB key leaving the sdcard installed and booting off it. Likely your setup is way faster booting off the ssd though.
