Win XBMC on multiple devices
#1
Ok Im running xbmc currently on my win7 machine
I have an unraid machine with all my data on it
What i want to do is:
Make the whole thing centralise on my unraid machine
So that i can run xbmc on my desktop upstairs also using same libraries...
update it there and come back in my living room and have the updated library there
Also in the future there might come extra xbmc machines (perhaps even ios devices running it)

Is it hard to centralize it? How do i start?
Thanks!

I've seen this on the wiki:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW..._libraries

Is that the way to do it?
That looks quite hard actually
Even to install it on unraid..

Skank: I am not familiar with unRAID, but I found this guide: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.p...ic=11473.0.

You can also set up the library on one XBMC installation and then share the library via UPnP (wiki) to other XBMC installations. They will all have metadata (summaries, covers, etc) and all access any files that the host machine can access (even if not set up as a network share), but will lack some of the features that a MySQL set up can do.
