Hi guys,
I have followed all the guides about setting up the Harmony Remote and right now it is "sort of" working. Maybe someone can help. Two major issues:
1) power on/power off. So I have a Rosewill MCE remote and i changed the setting in XBMC to standby rather than shut down. This works well when I use the rosewill remote, but something goes wrong when I use it on the Harmony. When I hit the power button my HTPC turns off and then turns back on, why would it do this? A related question: I would like the power button to turn on/off the tv and htpc together! I have to do this with an activity correct? I tried doing this and I had the cycling boot issue (on/off).
2) volume keys. Right now I'm only using my tv with my htpc so I want the remote to always be in the Media Center "mode" except for a few exceptions like volume. I want the volume key to adjust the volume on my tv, not the volume in XBMC. Is there a way to do this without having to switch devices on the remote all the time?
any help would be appreciated!
