Hey Guys,

I'm not very good when it comes to the technical side of why XBMC keeps crashing. I just did a complete reinstall on my ATV 2 and it seems to randomly be crashing either as soon as I launch XBMC or when I'm playing a movie that is streaming from my iMac.
The movie is in 720p and I'm currently using the Metropolis skin which I think might be a bit resource intensive. If any one could help it'd be greatly appreciated!

I presume it's something to do with the addons auto updating from your post? thanks for the heads up Martijin!

Ok I tried changing the skin to Quartz which seems to have made less system crashes however streaming any video from my iMac and it will stream for roughly 5 - 10 mins and then all of a sudden exit the video and return back to the menu. Is this due to high quality video and it not being able to stream fast enough from the Mac to my Apple TV 2?

Hey guys not sure if anyone has an idea why this is happening... after a bit of experementing.. it seems when I click Movies and it brings me to my movie library with synopsis, artwork, poster etc and then click play the movie plays for a few mins and then crashes...
however going into video and then files where you see the file structure and just playing the video and it seems to play for ages with no problems?

Anyone know why this could be?
