#1
Hi

I have been using this for a little while and love it.

The problem i have is that somethimes when i try and close xbmc it freezes and i have to reboot the pc.

Is there anyway to fix this issue?

I am using Linux Mint 15

Thanks for you advise.

If you can get to a terminal ( <ctrl>+<alt>+<f1> ) then "sudo killall -9 xbmc.bin" will kill xbmc. Then "xbmc" to restart it.

If you upload a debug log (wiki) then that might show where it's locking up. You may also have a crash log in your home directory.

System -> Settings -> Addons: Disable the Update Service Addon

Quiet xbmc: will hang final time
Afterwards: all fine.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Please post a log of xbmc, when it's hanging on shutdown. You might need to do it via ssh. Turn on debug logging before, quit it, login via ssh and do:

sudo apt-get install pastebinit
cat ~/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log | pastebinit
