Linux Video file plays Audio, but no video

debug log from the time I hit OK, listening to audio for a bit, and hitting STOP.

Video works in VLC on desktop, but xbmcbuntu doesn't seem to want to play it.

any ideas?

XBMC does not yet support the HEVC codec that the file is encoded with.

Actually gotham from the wsnipex ppa branch does. see the last couple of pages of this thread http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1630117

PS in future please provide a full debug log from the time XBMC starts, or you can miss a lot of vital info.

thanks for the heads up. I just caught that it was using the HEVC codec after I posted and wondered if that was officially supported yet.
