What is the difference?...

I want to update the XBMC version. I searched internet and found two types data. One of them is XBMC-SVN_2007-05-20_rev9030-T3CH.rar and the other one is XBMC-2.0.1-FINAL-FAT-T3CH.rar. I am confused. Huh Which one is the correct to be used to update the installed XBMC?

Depends on what you are looking for.
The former is the latest "beta" version, the latter the latest stable version (There is a huge difference in feature / functionality, the beta is considered the "latest and greatest").

I see, so I will go with 9030 one.

Another silly question. Currently I am using XBMC as a default dashboard. Before upgrade, do I need to change this? Since I am a real newbie, I don't want to run into crash.
