Here's how to get it back.
I had to clear the app store data and cache. Now Kodi shows up in my apps again on the firestick.

The same happened to me. I had to do a full re install, which with the changes was interesting.

Amongst other issues, mine just disappeared tonight from the home screen and my apps, I was thinking of doing a fresh install before it disappeared. Need to post in support but I don't know how to send bugreports((Im a noob))and upload log isn't working either🤷
