no. it needs opengl.

sorry... something i've been thinking about that would be cool is a music visualization that's like guitar hero or frets on fire. where the tabs are dynamically placed on the frets based off the audio thats playing. maybe with some random standard music visualization stuff in the background, behind the frets.
