Config:
LG 2023 65" TV (Model 65UR8000) running their "lovely" WEB OS
Amazon Firestick 4k Max (circa 2023) running Kodi 20.2 Nexus.
Netgear Router R6700V3 with USB "Readyshare" enabled.
Situation:
Using a Samsung Galaxy S9 with Kodi installed I was able to make an SMB connection to an external hard drive plugged into the Netgear router and after processing, all movies were addressable.
Using the Firestick and attempting the exact same SMB connection it times out with "connection refused" or not valid.
I have tried permutations using IP address of the router as well as an FTP IP address. I've also tried including login credentials for the router in case it is a permissions issue.
However everything I try still fails on the firestick but works on the phone.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
