Where does it mention the included RAM and hard drive? I can't seem to find it on the listing.

Exactly my point. The person I quoted said that it included RAM and a HD for that price, but I don't see it.

Yes, I'm agreeing with you. Look at the statement that I quoted in the first place and you'll see my confusion.

It was a deal that included a free HDD and 2GB RAM, but that deal is now over.

^^ Yup, not bad. I'd end up using a 4GB flash drive instead of a hard drive, so all I'd need is the RAM. I was also looking at the Zotac boards that have the power brick instead of a power supply. I'd be able to screw it to the back of my TV since everyhting is integrated.

Newegg has a barebones Foxconn with a D525 atom on sale for $145. Some of the reviews say that it is limited to 720P over HDMI. Huh

That's a bummer, it would've made a nice XBMC box with some cheap RAM and a USB drive.

how does your a330ion board sound? i've tried reducing my cpu fan speed in teh BIOS to reduce its noise but find that the system will shutdown even with very minor reduction in fan speed. its probably something to do with autoprotect system. btw - if i run fan at 100% the system is very stable and never crashes

its a 30mm cpu fan and so is naturally noisy but would like to hear how your system fairs.

NewEgg has the Zotac HD-ID11 with 2Gb mem and 250 Gb HD included and free shipping back on sale for $250. I bought one during their last sale and I have had no problems with it.
