For anyone who is still interessed, or anyone who stranded here from Google:

I got it running with a single raspberry Pi4, currently nightly LibreELEC build (Kodi 21 RC1 AFAIK), a local Hyperion installation and this framegrabber: https://github.com/rudihorn/drm-vc4-grabber

Works very smooth for me, also with hardware acceleration enabled (iam only at 1080p, dont know about 4k).
