Downloads links from main site won't work until the issue with mirror redirector is resolved. You can manually download xbmc from a mirror if you use a direct mirror url - i.e http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/xbmc/releases/

Addons are fed from the mirror system also. Again you will not be able to install/update add-ons/skins/etc... from within xbmc until this is resolved. There is nothing stopping you from manually installing add-ons if you are able to manually download the add-on.

Asking the same questions over and over won't get the problem fixed any sooner. As stated, we are aware of the issue, hopefully it is just the mirror redirector thats having issues, although it could be hardware related. We will update when we know more.

Hi guys.

Having the same issue - I can't get to the mirror site via browser and no add-ons are listed within XBMC.

Thought I'd include a tracert in case it's of any use. First few hops are irrelevant, so I excluded them.

Still not fixed, cannot download anything from within XBMC or the site.

Checking every 15 minutes.

Issue is still not resolved - we are still working on it. It was up, however the same problem happened again after a couple of hours.

Do not keep checking every 15 mins, that won't help and will cause even more issues with the server. As stated you can download directly from one of the mirrors.

Have been attempting to download from here:

http://mirrors.xbmc.org/releases/osx/xbmc-12.2-x86.dmg

Is that the mirror you're talking about?

No, mirrors.xbmc.org is offline

Use one of our third party mirrors as mentioned above, i.e http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/xbmc/releases/
#42
Also if on a new XBMC install (my case) you will get "Dependencies not Met" errors when trying to install addons. I imagine that the mirror also handles these required dependencies as previously stated.
#43
Unfortunately I am still unable to access the addons. Xbmc just clocks (working..) And then nothing.

Just going to wait this out until I hear more positive results.

I swear this is why I had suggested the listed Requirements in addon.xml(s) be visible within XBMC, to make it easier whenever things are down or having troubles. (in the thread about making common modules visible within repositories... also a great idea). I've just been sending people like was said here already to the ftp though for time being. Pointing out the t0mm0, urlresolver, metahandlers, myconnpy, Elderados' common module, youtube and such things as good picks to pretty much cover most dependency issues. The Binary Highway addon of mine @ Hub also has an XBMC Fixes [Tool] with installers for some of such common modules and should install fine without the need of having already done the ftp issue for those that have too much trouble adding a source and browsing a much (isn't that that much to browse). I know most (or many) users have a hard time figuring out which required modules to add... even if you tell them a handful of times, So really is a good idea to be able to see what is required by and addon on Repository lists.

Anyways good luck to xbmc.org on their current issues, and to the end-users. Keep on trucking, Keep the love alive, and Enjoy your XBMC. Live long and prosper!

Oh my god I just spent 4 hours trying to figure out why the official repo wasn't loading anything (first time installer), I am so happy to find out that this is an issue with the mirrors and not my brain!!
