Sorry Marcos. I have removed my XBMC install completely (so guisettings are not an issue), re-installed it from scratch with Mq2 as the only skin, added my video library and still have the same problem on my ION system. I then installed the Back Row skin via the Add-Ons, switched to it and I can access Movies in less than 3s whereas it takes 8+s with the MQ skin.

i agree with the idea of 2 different versions MQ2 720P and MQ2 1080P ....

Lite version could perhaps help with menu delays and stuff....

another thing is the menu backdrops suddently not 'appearing' making the background black...

i hope this can be fixed soon....

i recall that running the XBT uncompressed kinda resolved the issue here...

I agree as well. The skin is gorgeous, but more or less unsuable by my non-tech family members I can live with less pretty, but performance is a major issue.

Okay i cleared all the AeonMQ.2 entries in Guisettings.xml but still same problem
. It doesent take 8 seconds from homescreen but about 2 seconds.

Ok, I did purge (deleted) the gui setting but i still experience slowness performance, took me 3 second(on SSD Drive) to access movie libraly. When Comparing with version 2.4, Aeon MQ2 2.4 is incredibly fast (took me less than a second to access Movie library).

BTW, I can't find album level fanart (fanart.jpg) support for music in this version, this skin are no longer support this option ?

I'm going to get those files and give them a try later tonight. I am sure this will be sorted out. I'll post whatever findings I can. The great news is that this skin has a ton of fans and supportive users, so between us I am sure that we'll be able to find solutions to make it speedier for those having issues.

So far, I am just testing on my Win7 64 bit machine like you. I've noticed the delays but then again, I am using a SQL server library and I've lived with delays on my Linux system for a while due to that, anyway.

This skin is the greatest and the amount of effort you put in really shows. Like the other poster above says, I hope you don't take offense to others posting their concerns as it just shows how much of a fan they are of your work. I know myself, and everyone posting here, really appreciates it and sees what a fantastic skin this is. And we all realize how much time you have put in. We all just want to do what we can to help test and make it even better.

If I can see any results from using the files above, that I can discern, I will definitely let you know any differences that I notice. I can hopefully find a way to run your new version concurrently with the current 2.6 for fast switching so I can do some easy time comparisons. I'm also going to start with a fresh guisettings.

I've deleted the guisettings.xml and installed the files that Marcos posted and my system is definitely faster, I'd say down from 6 - 7 seconds to 4 seconds. so hopefully we can improve it further.

Marco, this is a fantastic skin and I really hope you don't get disheartened with the speed issues. As previously mentioned everyone supports you and will all provide as much feedback as possible to sort out out the issues.

Another thing, there was no decision on the cut on personalization, do or not do?

Consider that if the delay in version 2.5.1 of the skin was normal then the customization is not to blame for this.

Note:
The skin is always developed and tested using the official version and Windows 7, just so I can guarantee my work, if you use another system or another version of XBMC is susceptible to bugs.

MQ2: Please don´t cut!

I think you can make only 10 or 12 Favorites instead of (10 Videoplaylist + 10 Favorites + 5 Scripts + 10 Audioplaylist).

We can always turn the videoplaylists, audioplaylist an so on into favorites. That way you can reduce the 'Home.xml
