Problem with speed of show and sound

this only recently started happening.. i install everything ,start up channel one (or any movie ) and the sounds and show don't line up.. its like the show speeds up but the sound stays the say.. any ideas?

The first step with any problem is to provide a debug log. This may or may not help, but will at least give us detailed info about your system.

Enable debug logging from System settings, System, Debugging, and restart XBMC then wait a minute or two for all the startup tasks to finish. Play Channel One or some other test movie for a minute or two until the problem becomes apparent, then stop the movie and close XBMC.

If you're using Windows open the debug log by pressing Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

"%appdata%\xbmc\xbmc.log"

(including the quotes). Click OK and the log should open in Notepad. Copy and paste the log into http://pastebin.com/ and post the link it gives you here.

I imagine you are on RC1 and as such you are experiencing this issue
