Hi BlueCop!

I can perhaps send you a log tomorrow (i'm @ work now, and won't be home until later tonight).

My setup is as follows:
XBMC Eden Beta 3 on Ubuntu 10.10...using XBMC boot option, so no GUI is loading to take up background resources. Using Aeon MQ3 skin
Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 440
SoundBlaster 5.1 soundcard, using ALSA drivers
AMD Athlon 2500+ processor, overclocked to 2ghz

The video is choppy, as in it seems the framerate is less than 30fps...somewhere around 20fps is what it looks like, it's not buffering. Also none of the shows, that I played anyway, have audible sound. I have played a couple episodes of Chuck, Flintstones, Gilligans Island, Jetsons, and Looney Tunes...all doing the same sort of thing.

Again, sorry I can't send you the log file as of now...I should be able to look at that early tomorrow morning. Nothing else is acting like this with the other chanels, just the WB...so glad you added it! Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing these issues, or if its only on my end.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your hard work on these plugins!!! I have been without cable for over a year now, and wouldn't have been able to do it without the great plugins that you make!

Here is a little trick to see if its a cpu/gpu issue. Play the video, then on your keyboard press the "o" letter. It will bring up onscreen some extended details such as frame drops buffer and cpu usage. Good place to start, then check out the log file. If you see high CPU usage, make sure you have hardware acceleration turned on in the Settings -> Video.(Windows Vista + and Linux/Live)

Well, not sure what the problem was, but they're all working fine this morning. Must have been an issue with the site when I tried yesterday, as I haven't changed anything...oh well, thanks all!

I have been on vacation for a week but does anyone know if Comedy Central stuff (in particular Jon Stewart & Colbert) broke? I have the hacked version of librtmp and it was working in the previous version of Free Cable.

just wanted to confirm that the daily show / colbert report stopped working for me about a week or two ago (Eden/Linux/patched rtmp). Accessing them via hulu plugin is working fine still.

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for this, Bluecop. Sincerely appreciate all the time and effort you've put into this (and all) of your plugins. I'm glad to see you're still around!

I saw a mention of HGTV. Is there any hope in that ever working in this plugin?

First of all, thanks BlueCop for this awesome plugin. I have really enjoyed it. Are there any streams that are more channels than stereo? Seems USA, CBS and ABC are all just stereo. Is it perhaps a ATV2 setting issue? I think that I have played 6-channel audio before. Anyone have any experience with the free cable plugin supporting more than just stereo?

First of all: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, BLUECOP! You've done great work and thousands of users profit from it. Second: Excuse me - but the thread has become so big, that I can't read it all. So maybe this question has aroused a thousand times: Is it right, that many add-ons did only work in the USA properly? With free cable I can access all the channels, they even show me their content, but here in germany the shows don't play. I.e. NBC runs great, AMC does not. Is there a way to go around it?
