Hi Guy's,

No I have not forgot the skin, have just been busy with numerous bugs that Lipo has found for me. Now with the imminent approach of XBMC Eden I'm once again looking at trying to get the skin included in the main repo.

At this stage the only thing that I see that would stop that is the last remaining script (download skin theme script) that I package up with the skin. Repo rules require that I remove any scripts from my skin and submit the script separately to the repo. The main problem with this is that 1 - my python is not too flash and 2 - I'm not prepared to support the script (mainly because of point 1) when it makes it into the main repo.

So, what I need to know is whether anyone is going to miss this functionality (or even if anyone uses it), or do I just forget about the skin being available thru the main repo?

So up to you guys, main repo or stay with Passion as the only way to load the skin thru a repo?

BTW, question ONLY applies to the NON XBox build of the skin. Script will NOT be removed from XBox build .

When postings problems, please provide build details. If required a FULL debug log can now be submitted from the skin in settings->appearance->skin->settings>support. Ensure debug logging has been set in settings->system->debugging (or from the support menu). FAQ's located at :- http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on:XTV-SAF

Ok, I have now made changes to the skin that remove support for downloading themes from within the skin (available tomorrow morning Paris time from Passion repo). That's the bad news, good news is that it can be re-instated by downloading this file and unzipping it to the xTV-SAF skin directory. Sorry, but this is probably the only way that the skin will be accepted into the main XBMC repo and besides other than Ned, no one could be bothered to offer an option.

Any problems, leave a message in the main support thread and I will see what we can do. I have a number of small issues that I want to fix before making the request to be added to the main repo, so probably still a little while away yet.
