[Release] MLBMC - a Major League Baseball (video) add-on

Hey everyone! It's that time of year again!

And thanks for the excellent work on this again this year. It just wouldn't be spring without MLB on my XBMC!

I have a suggestion! On iTunes I have MLB Intentional Talk video podcast I watch daily with Chris Rose & Kevin Millar .. It airs on MLB Network daily but I don't have that channel so I watch it on iTunes.. Any chance of building this video podcast of the show into this plugin?

Hi everyone, I'm about ready to send an update to the repo but I'm going to put this up here as sort of a "beta" first.

Made a lot of under the hood changes, code cleanup.
Added initial support for Gameday Audio, may need tweaking.
Download Zip -> Dharma, Eden

Let me know of any issues but expect some preseason weirdness (checkout the first two minuets of yesterdays Washington game)

If anyone has any ideas, request.. it would be a good time

Shouldn't be a problem. I'll add a podcast category and include all the MLB.com Podcasts.

Not so much an idea or request, but just an observation that "thegryghost (the author of the mlbhls client) is working on updating it to support some of the protocol changes MLB.TV has made. I am assuming that XBMC still doesn't have native HLS support?

Thanks, that's good to know as I plan on looking into the HLS stuff soon. HLS support isn't going to make it into Eden, but looks promising post Eden. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=123486

I'd love to see support for proxies, if possible.

I downloaded the Dharma version, but when I try to play a game, it says "Script failed! : plugin.video.mlbmc". I can play just the audio files fine. Am I missing something?

Edit: I am a MLB.tv premium subscriber so I should be able to watch games.

Sorry, I don't think I want to go down that road. I've heard speak of MLB banning accounts if they detect proxies and I don't want to be responsible.

If you upgraded from an older version, make sure you reset the "Playback Quality" add-on setting. Think I'm going to add some sort of check for this.

If that's not the problem I really would need to see a xbmc.log, with debugging enabled in the add-on settings, to tell whats going on. Copy the log to http://pastebin.com and post the link.
