...aaaand working well also with Ubuntu Server 10.04 / Eden RC2.

Maybe small, but important thing for me: TV series doesn't support banners/banner mode and now all thumbs are squashed for me. Could this be a configurable opiton?

I think is a nice starting. Some points for me....TV Shows should not only with posters also with banners. And the movies where not sortet right. Ist sortet per sources and not all together. I have my database on a Qnap with Mysql. It is possible to bring thise directly to the qnap nas?

Let us know once you get the hang of git so we can send pull requests

I'd make the default pass/user nothing and let people decide if they want it. Going to create confusion

Can you try again? It has something to do with PIL. Like I said before, first time we started programming in Python, so there is a lot to learn
