[Release] TheConcertDB.org
#61
Just got this installed. About 50% of my content got scraped just fine based on the filename.

The other 50% does not show a concert name. For example, take Adele Live at the royal albert hall.
It scrapes the images and stuff just fine, but no title.

That's strange...
Can you export to nfo and upload together with log of scan process?

Did you try to scrape a language besides English?

I have been working on the issue already. Seems like it's mostly because of my filenaming.

It is really sensitive to year numbers and often does not like characters like "-" or "_"

Scraping some stuff manually now with Ember, i will let you know how it goes.

I have a simliar problem.
My concerts are 100% folder based. So i scrape them manual, by entering the band name into the search field.
then the scraper finds the concert but, during the scraping progress, it mixes up the naming.
It always forgets the artist name. So i have now like 10 concerts with the Name 'Live at...' instead of for example 'Caro Emerald: Live at..'
Any comments on my problem?

This is because before the ":" it is linked as artist to your music db...

I'm not sure I understand. Is there a way to have the artist name listed in the music library?
I guess I can export nfos and change the title so its "artist - title" but I just wanted to see if there's a easier way i'm missing here.

Btw, thanks for providing the scraper.

edit: I forgot that i'm able to just edit the title in xbmc, still would like to know if there's some other way i'm missing.

so, I just tried this scraper. It worked fine for most of my concerts/DVD rips, but I have three concerts that show up blank in my music videos database. The Concerts were on TMDB and the scraper showed me the appropriate results. Now the names are empty, and when I try to rename those three by selecting "rename title", it shows the name of a "real" movie from my database. If I go on to rename it, the original movie will get the new name I enter. The three concerts I tried to add were:

http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/69373-g3-live-in-tokyo
http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/66583-g3-live-in-denver
and http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/87264-me...ck-am-ring

does someone know what I can do to make them show up proberly in my database?

Having similar issues. Everything scrapes fine in mine except Nine Inch Nails: Beside You In Time. It has the cover art, just no title. You cannot edit title and get it to accept it either. A refresh shows the listing for it, but once you select it, it goes back to blank. I copied the segment from my log where it happens, pasted below.

Code:

Once again, change the title on TMDb to 'artist: title'

Can I also ask that any music DVDs/Bluerays added to TMDB have the Genre set to "Music"

I'm getting tired of changing all the bad genres such as "Musical" (A Musical is when people dance round with umbrellas in the rain ffs!)

There is also a feature request ticket here to add an artist field to the TMDB. Please contribute a response if you think it would be a nice feature.
