Hello:

How do I know that I have current version of XBMC (i.e.RC2)?

My apple tv 2g showing me XBMC 11.0 Git:20120331-ebfd899 (complied Apr 1, 2012).which found from XBMC--Setting. But when I check thro' nito tv it is showing XBMC-11.0 b1. Is this current version?

Thanks.

The latest version is Eden 11.0 Final compiled March 28th (the version after RC2). You can see how to update here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...Apple_TV_2 If NitoTV is being a bit weird then go the SSH root, it's a sure winner.

I updated XBMC on my ATV2 to Eden final and when I look at system info this is what I see: XBMC 11.0 GIT:20120321-14FEB09 (compiled: Mar 21 2012)

Looking at this thread this is not the latest version. So, I updated via SSH and it is telling me XBMC is up to date. So, am I up to date?

Yes, you're good - there's a special, patched, version created with an April 1st date in order to get XBMC to run on the recently jailbroken iOS5.1. You're still on Eden Final.
