Hi,
I have atm a single DVB-S2 tuner card.
Recording one channel and watching another one on the same transponder works !
BUT if I record one channel, switch to the other on the same transponder and press "Record" again it obviously stops recording the first .. is it a bug or a feature ? I guess if I could watch a channel it should be possible to record it ..
What are your experiences, possibly with other backends ? How does it work with a multituner setup ?

PS: what I miss - if a channel is recoreded it would be nice if the channelslist would only show the really available channels like the satellite recievers do ...
Linux [TVHeadEnd] Record two channels at once ?

Have you tried different ways like timer or instant recording ? I tried it with timer recording too - and it didn't work :-( xxxnelly Wrote:I agree it would be nice to see that list somehow - how do another satellite recievers do it? I haven't used a Sky-HD box for a while... My sat-receivers simply cut the channels list to what is available. If you press "channels" or simply switch through the list with +/- there are only these channels that are accessible. .. I guess it would require some tv backend work to enable it .. Any ideas if VDR or MythTV master that task ?
