I was just wondering if XBMC can run on a media player, I have a couple of AC RYAN boxes and I would love to be able
to use XBMC on them instead of the native software.

Search/google. If someone hasn't made an installer/instructions for XBMC on a given device, then the answer is no. It might still be technically possible, but the task would be a major endeavor that would require intimate knowledge of XBMC's code.
You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |
