Lightbulb  Xtreamer Ultra 2 with GeForce GT 520M possible DTS-MA bit-streaming Post: #1
It has been a while now and things are starting to look promising. With Eden around the corner and a new Xtreamer Ultra 2 with HD bit-streaming I'm starting to wake up again and look around me.

I'd love to see XBMC Linux working on the Ultra 2 while bit-streaming my precious DTS-MA content.....

You should be able to bitstream DTS-HD/TrueHD audio using XBMC+W7 with 2.13GHz Dual-Core and Geoforce 520M now....

>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

Yes that's seems to be correct. That's why I'm kinda interested in Xtreamer once more again.

Here is more information about the device:

Question is will this ever works with Linux..... I don't want Windows on my HTPC just XBMC Live with DTS-MA support.

It is built to work with both W7 and Linux. Since it is Nvidia GT520M chip, it should be great for Linux.

By the way, one of the guy brough it up in this thread just before you (in post #12)- Wanting a Pre built HTPC - XBMC ready.

The Xtreamer Ultra 2 looks pretty good. I've had Xtreamer before, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Good support. The Ultras even come with their own version of OpenElec, but you can put any version you like on them.
